MTNA State Affiliate of the Year
The Florida State Music Teachers Association has been selected as the 2012 MTNA State Affiliate of the Year! This selection recognizes the significant accomplishments and important work of FSMTA for MTNA and the music teaching profession. According to the State Affiliate of the Year committee, "Florida
came out on top because of their membership, conference, newsletter, website, programming, and outreach, rating at the top or near it in those areas. Their impressive conference showcased guest artists and many state members and an orchestra playing with their students. Their publications are very attractive with newsletters giving member, student, and other interesting news items, rather than only forms and entry requirements."
