Registration Deadline: October 23, 2009 This non-competitive event, hosted at Dollarhide’s Music & Sound, is designed to encourage students to learn more Baroque music and to enjoy listening to it. The Festival will be in the format of a group recital. Solos and ensembles are welcome. Original compositions, arrangements or transcriptions are acceptable. Memorization of solos is encouraged. This event will not be judged. Entry fees are $8.00 per soloist, or $5.00 per person playing in an ensemble. Each entry is limited to a maximum performance time of 10 minutes. One long piece or several short ones may be performed in this time frame. Any composer of the Baroque Period is acceptable. Teachers may accompany their students if desired.
